Newland Engineering were not exhibiting this year at Logimat Stuttgart but did get to visit.
Our distributor for the Netherlands, Pewisys (Part of the De-With Group) were exhibiting & had a stand in Hall 1.
They recently were successful in winning an order which involved four Newland telescopic belt conveyors for projects in Bulgaria & Turkey.
Both projects are for the ‘Bulk Handling’ market sector & involves the conveying of 70kg bags of coffee beans. For the handling of 70 kg bags the Newland telescopic belt conveyors are designed with a heavy duty Droop Snout. The Droop Snout design incorporates an undercarriage with a ‘coil over’ damper shock absorber as fitted to cars.
Logimat as always was very well attended. Official figures of a total of 65,719 industry professionals travelled to the Messe Stuttgart convention centre for the three-day event.
1,625 exhibitors from 40 countries, including over 300 first-time exhibitors, filled more than 125,000 square meters of gross exhibit floor space across all ten fully booked exhibit halls of the Messe Stuttgart convention centre.
More than one in three exhibitors this year (35.9%) came to Stuttgart from outside Germany – a quarter of those from outside Europe.
