Lynn was invited to be a member of the judging panel at the recent Pride of Tameside Business Awards held recently on June 13th. At the end of the evening, Lynn was very surprised to be presented with a Special Recognition Award for her 50 year career at Newland. Both Lynn and Michael Kyrycz both celebrate this impressive milestone in September 2025.
Lynn began her career with Newland as the company’s first full time secretary, taking on additional responsibilities over the years before becoming Managing Director and Shareholder. Other contributing factors are Lynn’s efforts in promoting Women in Manufacturing.
