In partnership with our distributors in the UAE, Magnatech Middle East, Newland Engineering recently completed a successful order for a company in Dubai. The order was for a Newland T20 mobile belt conveyor, from the Newland T Type range of mobile vehicle unloading/loading conveyors.
The customer in Dubai needed a conveyor to unload 50kg bags of rice, flour & animal feed from 20ft containers operating from ground level where there is no raised loading dock (Dockless unloading/loading).
The Newland T20 is ideal for this type of unloading or loading operation. Designed to operate from ground level, it is fitted with two sets of hydraulic rams enabling both rear & front booms to raise/lower to suit various vehicle & container heights. These features provide a maximum delivery height of 4.9 m.
The chassis is fitted with optional 18 x 5 inch solid cushion, rubber tyred wheels in place of the standard 200 mm diameter castors allowing the chassis to move over rough & uneven ground outside the warehouse.
The Newland mobile range of conveyors are built for heavy duty unloading and loading operations and have gained a reputation over the years in the Bulk Handling sector for supplying reliable and robust machines.
Newland Engineering are no strangers to exporting to the Middle East. Newland have been exporting worldwide since the late 1970’s to both the Materials Handling & Bulk Handling market sectors. Newland have recently received an order for five multi-telescopic belt conveyors (boom conveyors) for a flour mill in Bangladesh, handling 50kg bags of flour.
