When purchasing a conveyor from Newland, we want your experience to be about ultimate confidence and reward for your investment. We continue to support customers worldwide with Newland conveyors in excess of 35 years old!

Planned Maintenance

The engineers follow a maintenance schedule – a copy of which is available on request. Following each visit, a copy of the completed maintenance schedule is provided to the customer, detailing any further work recommended, including suggested timescales.

A planned maintenance schedule can be catered to your specific requirements, with service intervals being agreed upon dependent upon usage. Our customers who have a maintenance agreement in place benefit from priority in the event of a breakdown, preferential hourly rates and a discount on spare parts.

Our Engineers

Our service personnel are fully trained and qualified engineers, having gained experience building the product range in our factory, prior to taking on the role of Service Engineer. We are proud to say that this experience enables us to diagnose and repair most problems on the first visit to site. Covering the whole of the UK and worldwide, our service vehicles are well stocked with spare parts. Should further materials be required, these will be available from our own stores or from our suppliers next day (depending upon location).

Health and Safety

Safety of our engineers and your employees is a priority with site specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements being provided in advance of engineer’s visits where possible. Alternatively, our engineers carry generic Risk Assessments and Method Statements. A copy of our Liability Insurances and Health and Safety Policy are available on request.

Worldwide Support

We appreciate that some of our customers, particularly in remote parts of the world have their own maintenance engineers.  Newland are here to support them with spares and with technical assistance when required.  A technical Operation Manual (in the customer’s own language)complete with electrical diagrams is provided with each conveyor supplied to assist customers identify spare parts required.   Depending upon the time a request for spares is received, we can usually despatch on the same day with next day deliveries now being available to many parts of the world.
